The Virginia Beach Police Department is commanded by Chief Paul Neudigate, who was appointed in 2020. Three deputy chiefs and a support division manager oversee the department's major divisions. 

This leadership team directs the members of the 1,000-member force who serve the residents and annual visitors of our community.
