The Administrative Division oversees police officer training & education, animal control and internal investigations. It includes the following units:

Training Bureau

The Training Bureau manages the Law Enforcement Training Center and the curriculum for new recruits and ongoing education for currently serving officers.

Animal Control Bureau

The Animal Control Unit investigates animal cruelty cases and operates the City’s Animal Care & Adoption Center, which offers adoptable pets a second chance at a forever home.

Internal Affairs Unit

Allegations of misconduct by police department personnel are investigated the Internal Affairs Bureau. 

As a fact-finding body, this unit conducts administrative investigations, when are forwarded for review and recommendations.
